About

Resting in the East End of Louisville, Cuvee Wine Table is a wine bar and small plate restaurant with comfortable tables and patio perfect for any wine fan – no matter your skill level! We’re ready for the person with no wine knowledge curious to learn and try new wines as well as the experienced wine connoisseur with an extensive list of personal selections made by co-owner and Master Sommelier Scott Harper. Cuvee also has several craft beers on tap and a full bar for cocktails. And, we feature a happy hour!

Open for dinner, for a quick bite or an elegant full table dining experience. The menu includes small plates with a variety of cured meats, local artisanal cheeses, flat breads and our Entrée Del Giorno, a special daily entree. The eclectic wine program lead by Master Sommelier Scott Harper serves a huge wine selection including more than 50 wines available by the taste or glass. You will find more than a few of your favorite wines but will also discover your next beloved wine from this dynamic list.

We feature regularly scheduled wine and food experiences including classes, seminars and appearances by wine experts, winemakers and vineyard owners as well as wine tastings and pairing dinners.

We also have spaces perfect for your special event. We have a tasting table which seats 10 and a small private dining room which can accommodate up to 24 guests. Both can be reserved for wine tasting experiences or private events.

With more than 25 years at the Bristol Bar & Grille, Scott Harper is currently managing partner of Bristol Bar & Grille. He also serves as a corporate wine and beverage director, overseeing the award-winning wine programs for all Bristol locations.

In 2009, Scott earned his Master Sommelier Diploma, the highest distinction a professional can attain in fine wine and beverage service. To become a Master Sommelier, a candidate must pass four levels of examinations: The Introductory Sommelier Course, the Certified Sommelier Exam, the Advanced Sommelier Course and finally, the Master Sommelier Diploma Exam. As it has one of the lowest pass rates of any exam in the world there are only 230 people who share the title worldwide. He is also a Master Examiner for the Court Of Master Sommeliers as well as a judge and speaker.

In addition to being an Executive Bourbon Steward and a Member of the Stave and Thief Society, Scott also holds the title of Certified Wine Educator (CWE). This is the highest level of recognition of the Society of Wine Educators. He is a recipient of the Banfi Award, given to the individual who passes the CWE examination on the first sitting, and with the highest score.

Always doing his best to educate and give back to the community, Harper teaches wine and spirit courses through the continuing education program at Bellarmine University and also writes for Sophisticated Living and Food and Dining Louisville.
